Christie Kaplan’s practice rests on a singular premise: "The canvas we are given to create upon does not define how we evolve or dream."
The 'The life of a founder" solo installation exhibit will be Christie's life's work—an artistic expression that honors the journey of the entrepreneur. Built specifically for North Texas founders, the exhibition fuses Christie's own lived experience with the stories of real founders. Through raw, mixed-media raw canvas installations, the work visually processes the visceral realities of the builder's path: the isolation of early creation, the strict focus required to scale, and the ultimate personal freedom earned through a hard-won exit.
Rather than popular career paths of becoming a speaker or writing a book, about ones experience, Christie uses fine art to honor the human inside the founder journey. This exhibit serves as an intentional space for those currently navigating the grind, celebrating their resilience and reminding them that their personal growth matters far more than what they build.
